Discover Your Purpose Through Mentoring
VISION
High impact youth development program where youth receive the essential skills to overcome adverse situations to transform their lives and their communities.
Growing up in a community that has been on an economic decline for decades can be very challenging. The poor quality of life and lack of resources can make it difficult to break the cycle of poverty and despair.
Elaine Marthel, the founder of Project Impact 180, understands this firsthand. Despite facing many obstacles, including becoming a single teen mom herself, and losing her father at the age of 5, she was able to overcome them and achieve her goals.

Elaine's story is one of perseverance and determination. She worked hard to obtain her education and used her experiences as building blocks to help teach youth how to overcome barriers that may be hindering their success. Her mantra "Youth are not a job but youth are my ministry" shows her commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people.

Through her 25+ years of youth advocacy and Project Impact 180, Elaine has mentored over 1000 youth and helped shift the trajectory of their lives. Her love for young people is evident in all that she does, and she believes that with hope and support, anyone can overcome their circumstances.
Elaine's story teaches us that no matter where we come from or what challenges we face, we have the power within us to create change in our lives and communities.
